In Zurich, near Lake Zurich, the opera house, and the city center, we have equipped the 4-star superior hotel Ameron Bellerive Au Lac, the hotel chain Althoff Hotels. The hotel was built in the 1920s and is protected as a monument, which posed a special challenge due to the preservation of certain parts of the hotel that were not allowed to be changed (stone floors, walls, parquet). The unique location and elegant design in a modern Art Deco style give the luxuriously renovated hotel a very special charm.
The project included an extensive renovation and complete reconstruction of the hotel, where we supplied all the furniture for the room and public part. Rooms with an elegant design and a special combination of an urban lifestyle with a Mediterranean touch are the work of the Swiss architectural firm Monoplan. We have equipped a total of 61 rooms in the hotel, of which 56 are premium rooms, 4 junior suites, and one tower suite. In the public part, the design followed the room style with a dynamic layout and a space-related concept. We made a semicircular bar with a metal portal, a buffet with “Showkitchen”, a restaurant, a salon, a reception, and a library with a “coworking” space.
The project took place from August to December 2020 under the strict protective conditions of the covid epidemic and was completed within the agreed deadline.
