Stilles successfully implemented the Grand Park hotel project Rovinj

In early April, Rovinj opened a new luxury five-star hotel on the site of the former Park Hotel, giving a picturesque view of the panorama of the old town with the church of St. Euphemia above it, and the island Katarina. With the opening, the exclusive zone of Monte Mulini was completed.

The project worth almost 100 million EUR was declared a strategic project of the Republic of Croatia and was designed under the leadership of Maistra d.d. which is owned by the Adris Group, and is a part of their brand Maistra Collection. Maistra d.d. now owns nine hotels and eight resorts on the territory of Croatia.

Grand Park Hotel Rovinj has 193 rooms and 16 suites which can host 500 guests who are pampered in suites measuring up to 176 square metres, and have six restaurants, three pools, and a 3,800 sq. m. large wellness centre spanning two floors. The hotel also has a congress hall.

Maistra entrusted the architecture project for the fourth time to studio 3LHD from Zagreb, which created the facility and respectfully embedded it into the hillside, where the six floors of an impressive size seamlessly hide between the rich vegetation. The architecture is also special because its reception premises, together with the wellness and restaurant, are located at the top of the building, while the rooms are in the floors below. The hotel is connected with a brand new ACI marina via the Lungomare shopping promenade, which is also part of the hotel complex but is accessible to the public.

Interior design was taken over by Pierre Lissoni’s Milan studio – Lissoni Architecture who is famous as one of the world’s most acclaimed Italian designers, as his works define the trends in the global product design and are exhibited in many museums around the world. The style of interior furnishings may be defined as minimalist, inspired by the Mediterranean as experienced by the designer. A lot of natural materials and colours are used, and a selection of artworks signed by various artists who drew their inspiration from the surroundings of Rovinj, Istria and the Mediterranean decorates the walls of the premises.

The company Stilles d.o.o. was entrusted with the manufacture and installation of furniture for both the rooms and the public premises. We can proudly say that this project was the most challenging one we have ever had, and we can proudly state that it was completed within the agreed upon deadline, which would not have been possible without our reputable and reliable partners.
