A contract has just been signed for the refurbishment of the JW Marriott Hotel Frankfurt. It is the first hotel of this brand that we are fitting out.
The JW Marriott brand was founded in 1984 with the opening of the first hotel in Washington. As the top of the Marriott hierarchy, the brand competes with the Ritz-Carlton in terms of luxury but ranks ahead of the traditional Marriott and Renaissance in terms of appeal. This reflected in the higher quality of the facility’s operations, the complete interior, and the equipment or materials available to guests. There are only six hotels of the aforementioned hotel brand which are in Central Europe.
The hotel is in the centre of Frankfurt and spans over 19 floors. The rooms and suites are among the most spacious in the centre, and all have floor-to-ceiling windows with magnificent views of the city. By the way, we have already produced complete equipment for the mentioned hotel in 2008, but at that time the building belonged to another hotel chain.
We are renovating 219 rooms and corridors on 19 floors. We supply complete interior free-standing equipment and part of fit-out equipment, decorative lamps, and textile floor coverings for rooms and corridors. Part of the built-in furniture will remain in the rooms and will be restored on site. This complex renovation will be carried out in a specially prepared chamber in the garage part of the building.
The public part is located on the fourth floor and will be renovated gradually. Primarily, the first and second floors will be built in the area of bar and restaurant.
We will start our work in June 2023, and the facility will be put into use in the second quarter of 2024.
