At the Falkensteiner Hotel Prague, we started installing fire-resistant doors

The Falkensteiner Hotel Prague (former Hotel Maria Prag) is a luxury 4-star hotel – the newest hotel in the Falkensteiner Group, located in the Old Town, just a few steps away from the famous Wenceslas Square and all major sights in Prague’s Old Town.

It is a renovation of a historically protected building, built in the year 1860. The hotel boasts 109 rooms to be renovated.

We will produce and install a total of 239 interior doors with a wooden unrebated leaf in a wooden frame. Stilles hotel doors type SHD-03 have achieved fire resistance of IE30min and 42 dB of sound insulation in tests at the German itf Rosenheim Institute. Since we do not focus only on features that are related to fire resistance and sound insulation, we also tested this type of door for climate resistance, impact resistance, smoke tightness, and durability of cyclic opening. The latter proved to be as many as 200,000 cycles.

We will also take care of all technical documentation and professional installation of building doors.

As Stilles is aware that doors are one of the most important components of hotel interiors, we have been developing interior building doors adapted to the needs of various hotel franchises for many years.

The facility will be handed over for use at the end of March this year.
