In the case of our project, it is a new building located in Vienna’s 10th district, also known as Favoriten. The district is known for its attractive architecture as well as its convenient location as the “gateway to the south” and the surrounding countryside. Thanks to the good transport connections, both by car and by public transport, you can reach the city centre and the recreational areas on the outskirts. There are many attractions nearby, such as the Bohemian Prater with amusement rides and the medical spa Oberlaa with its botanical gardens.
The Apart Hotel was built with an emphasis on sustainability using the environment-friendly building material Ziegelit, which consists of brick chippings, sand, cement and water. The material is designed to be fire-resistant, sound-insulating and to reduce heat accumulation in the summer months. The interior design was designed sustainably. We master different materials – wood, metal, and stone.
As part of the implementation, Stilles will take care of the interior of 223 rooms and the public part of the building. In addition to the production and delivery of the complete interior equipment and free-standing furniture, we also coordinate all the technical documentation and manage the assembly work on the construction site. It is a very large construction site – the centre of four units, so the assembly and transport will be challenging from a logistical point of view.
The interior design was created by the Vienna studio Vienna Interiors Maier & Pohl GmbH. The facility will be handed over for use in mid-November 2022.
