At the CLT production facility of Stilles in Sevnica, we are currently manufacturing three residential buildings made from cross-laminated timber (CLT). Although each project is custom-designed to meet the client’s specific requirements, they all share a common vision – creating high-quality living spaces where the natural beauty of wood becomes part of everyday life.
Private Residence in the Gorenjska Region, Slovenia
A contemporary two-storey family home with a net floor area of approximately 200 m² is currently being produced for a client in the Gorenjska region. The project will require around 60 m³ of CLT panels.
One of the building’s distinctive features is the extensive use of exposed, visible-grade CLT. Nearly all interior walls on both floors, including the staircase, will remain exposed, with the exception of the bathrooms. The roof structure will also be constructed from CLT panels and left visible, giving the interior a distinctive architectural character while enhancing the warmth and natural appeal of timber.
Residential Building near Oplotnica, Slovenia
We are also producing a residential building near Oplotnica, where the ground floor is designed as a reinforced concrete structure, while the upper floors are constructed using CLT.
Approximately 20 m³ of CLT wall panels will be manufactured for this project, with around half of the walls in the living areas finished in visible-grade timber. In addition to manufacturing, we will also be responsible for assembling the CLT structure on site.
Holiday Home near Knin, Croatia
Near Knin, Croatia, we are producing a single-storey holiday home with a gallery, combining contemporary architecture with the warmth of natural wood.
The building, with a net floor area of approximately 65 m², will be constructed using around 25 m³ of CLT panels. All interior spaces, except the bathroom, will feature exposed visible-grade timber, while the exposed CLT roof structure will further enhance the spacious, bright, and welcoming atmosphere.
