As part of other investments this year, Stilles has installed a 960 kWp solar system on the approximately 4.000 m2 roofs of the company’s buildings.
We will cover about 25-35% of the total electricity demand with photovoltaics. In addition to the economic effects, we will also ensure a positive impact on the environment with our self-produced electricity, as solar energy is a clean and renewable energy source that produces no carbon emissions. Investing in a solar power plant therefore makes an important contribution to a sustainable future, because the sun is a clean and unlimited source of free energy that is worth using. Unlike fossil fuels and non-renewable energy sources, the power plant does not emit emissions such as CO2 into the environment during its operation, does not pollute the environment, does not threaten forests and contributes to a higher quality of life.
